Web Matrix Project
The ASP .NET Web Matrix Project is a new tool from Microsoft for creating ASP .NET web applications. It seems to be aimed at the “casual developer” audience. In other words, it’s Visual Studio .NET “lite”.
I am most intrigued by MS’s claim that the tool is “community-supported”. It makes it sound as though it is an open sourced app. The price certainly smacks of open source: it’s free.
