Signs
Last night we saw M. Night Shyamalan’s Signs. It is probably the best take on Wells’ War of the Worlds to be filmed yet. The acting is superb, and the script is well thought out. Just goes to show that you don’t need mind-melting special efects and a huge budget to craft an effective invasion story; rich characters and situations go a long way.
