Over at the New Scientist. “Why do we have so many unusable things when we know how to make them usable? I think it has to do with the fact that the usability advocates don’t understand business.” So true! I can honestly say that The Design of Everyday Things is one of the books that has most influenced my thinking about design; I am looking forward to Dr. Norman’s upcoming book about the future of everyday things.
