Apple’s new browser is based on the KHTML (Konqueror) engine. While this is a very good, standards-compliant rendering engine, it is not perfect. This article by Mark Pilgrim addresses specific rendering issues, and is targeted to webmasters.
On a side note: if you are reading this right now, you musn’t be using Safari. I know this because I dowloaded Safari last night, and this page breaks significantly when rendered with this browser. Fortunately I am almost ready to publish a new, fully XHTML/CSS-compliant version of this site that will take care of these issues.
