NetNewsWire Pro 1.0b13 supports MT categories!

NetNewsWire Pro is a scriptable RSS news reader which also provides an editor for many popular weblog systems. This release includes category editing support for Radio, Movable Type, and Manila (news items) sites. It also fixes a minor bug which caused some AppleScript scripts to fail. At long last! Support for MT categories! Hoorah! So much for my wish that Kung-Log support Applescript. I might just never need to leave NNW now.

Update: the categories feature doesn’t seem to be working as it should. Whenever I try to post with categories, I get an XML error. The posting gets saved (but not published) in MT. There is no category assigned to the posting. I’m getting this same error when posting through NewzCrawler in Windows, so it might be a MovableType issue. (However, I can publish through Kung-Log. Odd.)
