Snowed in

I now realize why traditional cultures place so much emphasis on reproduction. I’ve shoveled snow for the past two hours, and my driveway is still half-buried. It is at times like this that I wish I had children to help with the chores!

My neighbors tell me that this is the worst snowstorm in northern Virginia since 1979. I’m not surprised—it is certainly the most impressive I have seen, and I’ve seen more than most Central Americans.
