Introduction to Patterns for Personal Web Sites:

These patterns are for people who want to create a personal Web site that:

  • offers a variety of material besides autobiography.
  • is constantly being improved.
  • enriches the Internet.

What a great question to ask: how does my site enrich the internet? One thing I don’t like about most blogs (my own included) is that they fill the internet with fluff. (This paragraph, for example.) Signal to noise, and all that jazz. (Chinese) New Year resolution: publish more meaningful content.
