Periscope and flashy design
Periscope is the typical example of a beautifully designed, yet completely unusable Flash site. The site designers know this, which is probably why they feel compelled to ask you if you need guidance on how to use the site the first time you visit. I am already several levels deep into the site—into the “Company” section, and I still don’t know what Periscope’s line of business is. [Via k10k, who specialize in highlighting eyecandy of this sort.]
