Web page analyzer
websiteoptimization.com: “The script calculates the size of individual elements and finds the total for each type of web page component. Based on these page characteristics the script then offers advice on how to improve page display time.”
As a result of using this script, I learned that the main page of this site was a bit bigger than it needs to be for all users to see it comfortably. The results thrown out by the script are very well thought-out and presented; I was able to immediately identify the problem: I removed the main site image, which took care of the problem (and cut the size of the page in half!)
