My former employer—Cable & Wireless America—has now filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. They’ve also announced a deal with a buyer to take over the company.
I still have friends working for CWA; my thoughts go out to them and their families as their livelihoods are once again threatened immediately before the holiday season.
Tomorrow will be a month since I got to Panama, and it will also be a month since my last post on this site. Unfortunately, I still can’t officially disclose my next professional challenge because negotiations with my employer (Cable & Wireless) have dragged on.
I’ve managed to get a lot of things done since I got here, but posting to this site will continue being light until my professional situation is settled. Stay tuned…
