iPodder 1.0

I’ve been listening to a lot of audio blogs lately, primarily Dave Winer and Adam Curry’s Trade Secrets. Adam (who you may remember as a former MTV VJ) is one of the leading exponents of podcasting, in which audio content you subscribe to gets downloaded automagically to your MP3 player so that it’s ready for you when you have the time to listen to it.

iPodder 1.0, which is out today for Windows and Mac OS X (Linux coming soon) is a GUIfied tool that lets you set up and manage your podcast subscriptions.

If you’re using OS X, you owe it to yourself to check out iPodderX. It was the very first iPodder client with a GUI, and it’s far more mature than anything else out there.
