What if the whole world could vote in the US election?
I was talking with a US colleague a couple of weeks ago about the upcoming election in that country. At one point I said that given the enormous influence the US has over every country in the world today, it would make sense to just give everyone in the world the right to vote for what is, in effect, their de-facto leadership. BetaVote.com takes this concept and gives it tangible form: it allows people from every country to cast a virtual vote in the upcoming election. [Via Chiara Fox.]
