Heading to Vancouver

The IA Summit is being held in Canada for the second year in a row. Canada is a beautiful country; I look forward to visiting Vancouver next month (my first time in this city).

Since Panamanians require a visa to enter Canada, and there is no Canadian consulate in Panama (the nearest one appears to be in Guatemala), I will be spending some days with my good Washington DC friends prior to heading up to Vancouver. Hopefully I’ll get the visa in time for the Summit. Worst case scenario: I get to hang out with good friends who I haven’t seen in a year.

Plane tickets have been bought, and hotel reservations have been made. I’ve renewed my ASIS&T membership (it had lapsed due to a credit card snafu) and registered for the Summit. If the stars are aligned (and the multiple flights are on time), I’ll get to hang out again this year with the brilliant folks that make up this amazing community. I’m excited!
